9.   Attack on titan junior high

 

Kicking this off Attack on Titan junior high. Attack on titan is definitely that anime that every anime fan needs to watch. Most likely it’ll be remembered as that masterpiece when it’s all said and done but if you want a good titan sized smile on your face how about switching over to the younger 5 meter brother Attack on Titan junior high. You got Eren, Levi, Mikasa, best girl Armin plus your favourite Attack on titan cast. Go ahead and wipe out the end of the world setting then teleport them back to junior high, so for us that’d be like 2019. It is this complete parody that likes to poke fun at the various scenes or Titan situations from attack on Titan Season 1. And Yes it is a complete blast. You get to see the Attack on Titan cast living some normal lives while in School. But don’t worry Titans are still around somehow. This little spinoff even does give more screen time to some of the side characters or some of the other Attack on Titan characters that just didn’t get enough screen time in the main Attack on Titan series. Before starting this one I do suggest finishing up the main Attack on Titan series up to season 3. Sprinkled throughout Attack on Titan junior high you will noticed a lot of jokes and references to the main series. Originally this spinoff did come out between Attack on Titan season 1 and season 2. Which might be part of the reason it feels overlooked since its release. I mean I’m just here waiting for season 2.

 

 8. Kaguya sama: Love is war.

 

Like you might have guessed the main story focused on Kaguya and this other person Miyuki. Both of these two love birds are meant for one another. Really they’ve totally fallen for each other. Except for one problem. Neither of these ultra prideful bastards wants to be the first to admit it. In other words to confess their love. This is where the fun comes in. Each episode is split into multiple parts that focuses on different scenarios. Here you really got some mind games taken to ridiculous levels. Who will confess first? Or should I said lose first? If you have seen Death note You will get this vibe of Light vs L here from these two. On top of this you do have Pink girl Chika included in this madness. Chika really is this third wheel that added this extra random element to the Kaguya matches. Ironically you may end up likeimg Chika the most from any of the cast. If nothing else her little Chika dance may win you over. As a nice bonus Kaguya sama season 2 is coming in like a week.

 

 7. Gabriel drop out.

 

Before becoming full-time angels young angels gotta go down to Earth and spend some time with us mortals. This is where the blonde loli angel Gabriel comes in. Oh Gabriel was supposed to support and help out humans? She starts off so innocent. But within a day Gabriel discovers online gaming. You’re not going to be surprised how fast Gabriel adopts this fallen Angel title. And that’s just the beginning. Along with the little blonde Angel you do have another angel plus some demon buddies that goes to school together. Yeah she eventually goes outside. One of the fun parts is really seeing how much these roles are reversed. The Angels here behave more like monsters themselves. Not to mention you got the wonderful Angel abusing her angel powers cuz, well she lazy. Oh I don’t feel like going to school today! How about summoning Ragnarok? Can’t go to school if school doesn’t exist. Holy crap a roach! That’s it time to blow up the whole building! Meanwhile you got the devil girls mistaken for being angels themselves. And yes I can’t stress out how fun it is to see them abuse their angel powers. And that’s not even getting into the little screw up devil known as Satania.

 

 6. One punch Man.

 

Time to do the one punch man training while in quarantine. You got Saitama also known as One punch who can take out anything in a single punch. Sorry Goku and Superman. Unfortunately that is really this curse and sad part for One Punch man. Nothing really is a challenge for this guy. The anime kicks off with One Punch already being established although being this lower ranked hero in this hero infested world. If you’ve seen My Hero Academia pretty similar setting. Throughout One punch man you’ve going to see familiar shonen tropes mixed with this fun gimmick. Oh you got this its level threat or world ending disaster? Let’s goes ahead and hype that up to insane levels. Only for One punch man to come in and quickly take care of the problem. And perhaps the fun running gag isn’t going to be ultra funny for you but the top quality animation here gives you reason along to check out this anime. Surprisingly throughout the years I’ve run into more than a handful of people who’ve seen One punch man but were completely unaware this was supposed to be parody. I should also mention there is a One punch man season 2. If you’ve binged season 1 definitely lowered your expectations on that. If you did love one punch man season 1 the one punch man manga is another option for similar high quality art.

 

 5. Cautious Hero.

 

So you got the blonde goddess Rista in charge of overseeing a certain world. One day comes the summoned hero Seiya. This guy got totally isekai-ed, I mean chosen to save this world from a demon lord. You might have heard this one before. The only problem? The difficult setting for this world is at an all-time high. You now got this teacup of a Hero plus goddess to kick some tail. But hold up you can’t be too careful before setting off. You got the hero taking preparation to this ultra-ridiculous level. Oh there’s a low level monster? Let me train a few weeks to overkill the poor thing. And this is really where the fun comes in. Most of the funs comes from the Hero playing the straight man to the goddess justifiably over reaching to his antics. Huge credit to the anime studio taking the crazy faces to 500% In fact blonde hero should give you a vibe of another divine booty being. I would actually highly recommend watching Konosuba first. That way you’re going to get this fun bonus comparing the Blonde goddess to the other wet goddess. The Cautious hero also does give you this nice little expected touching moment with the finale.

 

 4. Kemono Michi.

 

Another isekai by the Konosuba Author. For this one you have pro wrestler that got Isekai-ed id championship fight, In typical isekai fashion this desperate princess has summoned this hero cuz they need someone else to wipe their ass for them. Please Mr. Hero slay the demon lord for us. But too bad! A pissed off Genzo not only rejects the princess’s offer but smashes her a good one. Yeah this is a more spicy isekai start. Turn out Genzo loves animals to this extreme level. You may even want to call him a furry but actually his main goal in life was to one day save up enough money to open up his own pet shop but now this guy got isekai-ed. For him it doesn’t real matter. Let’s just go ahead and setup shop here. So part of the fun here is seeing Genzo take up Isekai quests, and instead handle things through his own unique set of skills. Forget about the typical goal of trying to take down some demon guy or becoming some overpowered hero. Genzo instead has bended the story for his own purpose. Yeah let’s go ahead and round up allies for the ultimate pet shop of horrors dream. Unfortunately this anime has been horribly underrated from 2019. It was even from the same season as the Cautious Hero but personally for me this was far better and funnier. So Definitely give Kemono Michi a shot. Come on future isekai Quartet cameo…

 

 3. Isekai Quartet.

 

Talking about this anime. So what’s better than one isekai? For this anime you got 4 isekai blended into this ultra high concentration. Konosuba, ReZero, Overlord and Tanya join up for this isekai initiative. What could go right? You got the main cast from the series plus side cast teleported into this school setting. Just like Attack on Titan junior high, Isekai Quartet also has several references then may go over your head but hardcore fans will enjoy those little callbacks. Any longer time viewer here definitely know that my standout favourite from the group is Konosuba. I mean seeing Kazuma, Megumin or Aqua interact with anything is worth it alone. Rem and friends from ReZero are pretty awesome too. And I know what you’re wondering. Do you need to all these isekai anime to fully enjoy this crossover anime? I would say at the very least watch rezero and Konosuba. Overlord is option and Tanya is definitely not needed. In fact they actually give you this quick rundown of the Tanya Anime when this kick this off. If you have seen all these isekai anime that’ll just increase your enjoyment and if you haven’t they this may give you new anime to watch after you’ve finished! Isekai Quartet season 2 is also a thing which does toss more anime into the mix like shield Hero.

 

 2. Keijo !!!!!!!!

So you got Japan’s latest and greatest sport for the Olympics Keijo. This wonderful sport involving girls battling it out on the water except you can only use your chest or thick behind. Right away at quick glance you might be thinking oh ecchi fan service anime? And sure there is some of that but instead of trying to go Solo you’ll definitely be laughing your ass off much more. I mean I recall drinking with a buddy while watching the finale few episodes. I almost choked from laughing at some of the amazing scenes from the finale. The story here focuses on Nozomi who’s trying to become a Keijo master. The anime mostly focuses on seeing the obvious booty plus chest matches vs rival teams or some fun time while training their butt off for upcoming competitions. Just like Beach, Boruto’s Dad or similar anime there are special moves that one could master to unlock your potential. And yes technically this is not a traditional comedy but the concept is so ridiculous. There’s no way you’re not going to be laughing at what’s going on. I mean this is not only a parody of other sports anime but several shonen tropes too. I’m not going to give it away but let’s just say some booty moves reference anime like Attack on Titan or Fate. Unfortunately the manga for this anime was cancelled before the anime even finished. So definitely treasure this national gem.

 

 1. Space Patrol Luluco.

 

Despite this being a Trigger anime this feel like it’s mostly been forgotten. This anime actually focuses on the original story for their mascot Trigger-chan. The beginning of this focuses on Luluco who’s your average little girl who wants to have a crush some day. Except normal love really isn’t an option for her. She lives in this melt pot on Earth filled with Aliens. The adventure soon begins after her father gets frozen in carbonate. Luluco quickly has to take service as her papa’s replacement on the space patrol squad. It even comes with a very special super power. One that would make American’s cream themselves.
