5 Horror manga with short stories as chapters.

If you are like me who not only reads and enjoy the typical isekai trash but also reads some good manga/manhwa then you will like this list a lot. This is the list of some horror manga. Horror manga is a very bad genre in terms of getting a scare. I don't think Manga is a media through which horror could be presented to its peak. You don't get many scares but what you do get is the creepiness crawling through your bones. It may not be the best to get a good scare but it will make you feel afraid to go out at night. If you are not some one who reads horror manga then these manga can get you started diving in the sea of horror manga. 1. Hundred Ghost Stories Of My Own Death.

This manga will possibly have 100 chapters each chapter telling a different ghost story. Like this there will be a total of 100 ghost stories which is a lot in manga standards. I just read the first story and I am hooked it wasn't long but enjoyable. The art is not great but its good its just good enough to be creepy like actually creepy. Give it a go if you are looking for a good creepy manga.

2. Hellbound.

Hell bound is a manhwa with a great concept. 'Repent or face hell on earth.' as I have just read the prologue all I can say is, "Release the chapters fast!!!". We see a man in a cafe looking at his phone. Others are talking about death of someone, but the man is scared looking at the time on his phone just as it hits 14:00 monsters start chasing him and after killing him they disappear into the darkness. Seems good doesn't it. Give it a go then.

3. Soumatoh Kabushikigaishac.

There is a company that can let you watch your whole life in your own perspective, you can watch your whole life on a tv. But do you want to see your past, you will notice and see things which you didn't pay attention to before and you might come to regret those decisions. This manga is not a story about a certain character but just a collection of people looking back in their life. After which they are shown the perspective of the people they have committed sin to. Give it a go its a decent scary manga.

4. Our Classmate Sookgyung.

Well, the story seems good, but for anyone picking it up, just a heads up.
The core of the comedy involves the fact that the MC is completely unware and misses all the clues that the ghost girl is..well...a ghost, and her classmates don't seem to be in any rush to get her up to speed (due to rumors, and them just gotten used to the ghost girl just sitting there so they didn't bother her, plus there's a girl that's hyper bad with horror that seems to get in the way of anyone trying to get the MC up to speed).
The MC befriends the ghost girl cause she thinks she's been bullied and is projecting a bit.
Outside of this, the story is very lighthearted, and the comedy is good, they also play with horror tropes a bit and spin them around.

If you think the core of the comedy is something you will enjoy/tolerate, give this a shot.

5. Fuan No Tane +.

This manga is collection of urban ghost stories, it already has more than 110 chapters. which you can pick up and read anytime not having to worry about the chapters ending. If you like the horror genre check this out.
