The Whole anime community was hit by waves of clips and images of a manhwa which made their heart shudder. That Manhwa attracted many manga readers towards manhwa. That manhwa is none other than Solo Leveling. Solo leveling lit the manga/manhwa community on fire every one wanted to read this manhwa. Solo Leveling became the best manhwa. Animation studios started picking up manhwa for anime adaptations. Until now manhwa like Tower of God, God of High School have already gotten anime adaptations. With the level of popularity as Solo Leveling, it was inevitable for Solo leveling to get an anime adaptation. 

Many otaku from the anime community have refrained from reading the Solo Leveling Manhwa because they want to experience the story in the anime. The makers of Solo Leveling had not given any information whether they will adapt the work into anime or not but with the recent announcement it has been made clear that Solo Leveling is getting an anime adaptation.

Basic Info: 

The Main character of Solo Leveling is Sung-Jin woo. Solo leveling is a action manhwa with little to no romance elements but its hinted heavily that Cha hae-in is the heroin and the main love interest of Sung-Jin woo. Their romance may be covered in the side story chapters coming out this year.

Yoo Jinho - Becomes Sung Jin woo's best friend.

Sung Jinha - Sung Jin woo's sister.

Park kyung-hye - Sung Jin Woo's Mother.

Lee joohee - Sung Jin Woo's old friend (She becomes irrelevant in the later chapters but can be said to be a very huge character in the starting chapters)

Cha Hae-in - Sung Jin Woo's Love interest.

Review of Solo Leveling:

Reviewing Solo Leveling is kind of dangerous for me as I don't have much good things to say about the manhwa. I am very critical in my reviews because I have read many manhwa and have a great understanding of what a good manhwa is and can easily identify a good manhwa from a bad one. I have also read many web-novels, light novels, etc (Basically written form of content on which manga, manhwa and manhua are adapted from). Because of this its harder for a story to make me invested in it. This review may offend as well as spoil you so please read at your own caution.  

Lets start the review on a positive note. Solo Leveling is a Banger! Manhwa. Its an irrefutable point that Solo Leveling is a banger manhwa. The world building is great, the art is great, the main character is great, did I mention the art is superb. I lied I won't be starting on a positive note. Solo Leveling is Mid. If you are a web novel reader like me you would definitely have read countless 'System' stories where a weak main character gets a system and then becomes overpowered. There is literally an ocean of such stories. The whole weak main character + system = overpowered cold ruthless main character has been done a countless times. Such stories are interesting and very fun to read. 

People say that solo leveling has the best art which is not true. Solo leveling's art may is just a bit above average if you compare it with other manhwa. There are many manhwa which are older than Solo leveling and have great art.  

In short, Solo leveling is just way too over rated. 

Even if its overrated I have to agree that Solo leveling was a descent manhwa with a good story. It just ended bad. The only thing I didn't like about solo leveling would be its ending otherwise it was a great manhwa. I do believe it could have ended better. I could go deep in talking about the plot points which I didn't like and how they could have been better but it would just spoil the story for you that's why I wouldn't be doing that. There were countless loopholes in the last few chapter of the manhwa and also manhwa and many unused characters which I think would have made the story even better. I think this happened because the story was rushed. Its still better than other manhwa which prolongs their story so much that they become irrelevant and uninteresting.
